Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Algorithms: Design and implement quantum algorithms specifically tailored for machine learning tasks, optimizing them for near-term quantum processors (NISQ).
- System Integration: Integrate quantum computing modules into existing AI infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow and low-latency processing.
- Research & Development: Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging quantum technologies and evaluating their practical applications for commercial deployment.
- Model Optimization: Collaborate with data scientists to optimize classical AI models using hybrid quantum-classical approaches to enhance predictive accuracy.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices in security and scalability.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Quantum Computing or AI.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, machine learning, or quantum information science.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, Qiskit, or Cirq. Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, multi-disciplinary problems and think abstractly about computational theory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
