Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and system performance during weekend operations to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Perform routine maintenance, security patches, and software updates on critical systems.
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents and service tickets escalated from the main support team.
- Document all system changes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures in the internal knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the on-call engineering team during shift handovers to ensure seamless continuity of service.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect client data and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Mandatory Requirement: Must be available to work a full-time weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with team members.
