Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-scale microservices and APIs specifically for the Weekend Support Tier.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and system architecture planning to prevent downtime.
- Optimize database performance and infrastructure stability during off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize critical bug fixes and feature rolls.
- Mentor junior engineers and review pull requests to maintain code quality standards.
- Document technical specifications and deployment procedures for the weekend shift team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with a strong preference for candidates available for Weekend Shifts.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, and Python.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with database management systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and caching strategies.
