Responsibilities
- Model Architecture & Fine-tuning: Design and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal architectures tailored for high-stakes enterprise applications.
- Advanced RAG Systems: Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to enhance model accuracy and reduce hallucinations.
- Performance Optimization: Implement advanced quantization, pruning, and distillation techniques to deploy high-performance models on resource-constrained hardware.
- Evaluation & Safety: Develop automated evaluation frameworks (RLHF, DPO) and robust safety guardrails to ensure compliance and ethical AI outputs.
- Infrastructure & Deployment: Collaborate with MLOps teams to deploy models using vLLM, ONNX Runtime, and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Natural Language Processing.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and tokenization strategies.
- Programming: Expert proficiency in Python and PyTorch/TensorFlow; experience with C++ for performance optimization is a plus.
- Tooling: Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus) and ML frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain).
