Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices for the 2026 core architecture.
- Optimize database queries and API endpoints to ensure sub-millisecond latency.
- Lead architectural discussions and drive technical decision-making for the backend stack.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate closely with the AI research team to integrate new model outputs into production systems.
- Ensure enterprise-grade security, compliance, and disaster recovery protocols.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Deep expertise in Rust or Golang is required.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, remote-first environment.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
