Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable machine learning infrastructure capable of handling petabytes of data with sub-millisecond latency.
- Lead the research and implementation of novel neural network architectures to improve model reasoning capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to translate complex AI concepts into robust, user-friendly features.
- Optimize model inference pipelines for edge devices and cloud environments, ensuring high efficiency and low energy consumption.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data privacy, security, and ethical AI usage across the organization.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical code reviews to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on AI/ML.
- Expert knowledge of Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.
- Deep experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Proven ability to deploy and maintain large-scale production AI systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
