Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Senior 2D Motion Designer to join our elite creative team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex data and brand stories into captivating, high-fidelity 2D animations that drive user engagement and retention.
Our clients range from Fortune 500 tech giants to innovative startups, and we need someone who can deliver under tight deadlines while maintaining pixel-perfect precision.
Responsibilities
- Design and animate high-quality 2D motion graphics, icon animations, and explainer videos using Adobe After Effects and Illustrator.
- Collaborate closely with the UX/UI team to ensure animations enhance the user interface and user experience.
- Develop efficient animation pipelines and optimize assets for web performance across various devices.
- Conceptualize creative ideas and produce storyboards for pitch decks and client presentations.
- Review final renders to ensure color accuracy, smooth timing, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or graphic design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
- Strong understanding of animation principles (easing, squash and stretch, timing and spacing).
- Experience with HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript for web-based animations is highly preferred.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and technical proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
