Responsibilities

- Conduct cutting-edge research on quantum error correction and qubit stabilization techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop practical quantum computing architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and lead cross-functional innovation projects
- Secure external funding through NSF and DOE grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary research initiatives
