Responsibilities
- Design and prototype quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Develop quantum error correction techniques for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with physics and AI teams
- Secure patents and publish findings in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers and present findings at international conferences

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and simulation frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complexity classes
- Publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware interfaces
