Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction protocols and quantum system architectures
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computational models using simulators and real quantum processors
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks and APIs for enterprise integration
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through cross-functional projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ) or simulators
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical solutions
