Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum hardware-software co-design
- Establish industry partnerships to validate quantum solutions in finance, logistics, and pharmaceutical sectors
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at premier quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical HPC environments
- Demonstrated experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
