Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in chemistry optimization and machine learning
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical quantum models into experimental prototypes
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies and Fortune 500 partners on quantum security initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for quantum innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction methodologies
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science journals or equivalent top-tier publications
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
