Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum-AI hybrid architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Create neural network models optimized for quantum hardware acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, ML engineers, and hardware specialists
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithm optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
