Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for complex problem-solving
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen computational models
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize algorithm performance
- Secure federal grants and private funding for frontier research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or advanced neural networks
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, TensorFlow Quantum, or similar frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proven track record of securing research funding ($500k+)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, etc.)
