Responsibilities
- Design quantum neural networks leveraging superposition and entanglement for exponential computational power
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures for fault-tolerant AI operations
- Create hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for real-time data processing
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in physics, computer science, and cognitive neuroscience
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NASA grants for quantum-AI applied research
- Prototype quantum machine learning algorithms for climate modeling and drug discovery
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computational Neuroscience with 3+ years industry R&D
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE) and quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane) and GPU-accelerated ML frameworks
- Published research in quantum machine learning or top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processors and quantum annealing systems (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum information theory
