Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for high-dimensional data processing
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum neural networks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in NSF/EU quantum computing grants
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum circuit optimization
- Partner with pharmaceutical clients to deploy quantum drug discovery pipelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq) and TensorFlow/PyTorch
- Published research in quantum machine learning or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU acceleration
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience securing government quantum research grants
