Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive trend analysis across technology, sociology, economics, and environmental sectors to identify disruptive forces by 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and present strategic visions at industry conferences
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to track emerging technologies
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting long-term strategy
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
- Experience working in fast-paced tech or consulting environments
