Job Description
We are building the intelligence layer for the next generation of digital experiences. Nexus Horizon is seeking a visionary Lead AI Architect to define our technology roadmap through 2026 and beyond. You will be at the forefront of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and autonomous systems, designing architectures that are scalable, secure, and transformative.
In this role, you won't just maintain existing systems; you will pioneer new paradigms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business objectives into technical realities, ensuring our AI infrastructure remains ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the 2026 technical vision for AI infrastructure, including LLM deployment and fine-tuning strategies.
- Architect high-performance, low-latency machine learning systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Lead the design of our MLOps pipeline, ensuring seamless model training, validation, and productionization.
- Establish best practices for AI ethics, bias mitigation, and regulatory compliance in algorithmic design.
- Mentor senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Conduct rigorous research into emerging AI technologies (e.g., Neural Radiance Fields, Agentic workflows) to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML architecture.
- Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks.
- Proven track record of deploying large-scale machine learning models into production environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
