Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech integration, AI ethics frameworks) with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption timelines
- Collaborate with R&D to prioritize innovation investments and accelerate prototype-to-market cycles
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Anticipate societal and ethical implications of technological advancements and develop mitigation strategies
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints to validate futuristic concepts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, synthetic biology, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience advising C-suite executives on technological disruption
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools and strategic modeling software
