Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends in AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and bio-integrated systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable product specifications
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies including neural interfaces and climate AI
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions with 5-10 year commercialization horizons
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Author thought leadership on the societal impact of 2026 technological inflection points
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems to identify acquisition and partnership opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or futures research
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technology adoption curves and paradigm shifts
- Experience with strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published work in technology foresight or innovation strategy (strongly preferred)
