Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy, aligning technological trends with business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Design and manage incubation programs for breakthrough concepts from ideation to market entry
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and boards of directors
- Build and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Oversee R&D investment allocation across high-impact innovation portfolios
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation ROI and long-term strategic impact
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation leadership within tech-forward organizations
- Proven track record of successfully launching at least three market-defining products/services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs or corporate venture arms
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech and venture capital ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioner)
