- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy, R&D management, or emerging technology commercialization
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AGI development, or climate tech innovation
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong network within DARPA, IEEE, or World Economic Technology Councils
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Prior experience scaling teams from 10 to 200+ professionals
