Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and industry disruption
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and deploying experimental technologies (e.g., quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech paradigms and competitive threats
- Design scalable innovation frameworks integrating ethical AI and circular economy principles
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and quantum computing pioneers
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders with actionable insights
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth tech sectors
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI safety, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $50M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in future-facing technology domains
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology roadmapping tools
