Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive innovations for 2026-2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Partner with product teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Manage cross-functional R&D initiatives focused on long-term technology incubation
- Author thought leadership content on future technology implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, neurotech)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with global tech ecosystems and regulatory landscapes
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
