Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technologies
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for strategic advantage
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budgets with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor technical teams in agile methodologies and future-proof architecture
- Author white papers on disruptive technologies for industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing 3+ emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Active patent holder with 5+ granted technology patents
- Experience managing global distributed innovation teams
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and technology forecasting methodologies
- Presentation skills at industry conferences (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
