Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop innovation frameworks to accelerate prototyping and validation of futuristic solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and global research consortia
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or decentralized AI
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication for technical/non-technical audiences
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy publications
