Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3 infrastructure)
- Develop competitive intelligence frameworks to identify disruptors and market opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation pipeline with $50M+ annual budget allocation
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption ROI and strategic initiative success
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into core offerings
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, biotech convergence, spatial computing
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or strategic innovation
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy preferred
