Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop and maintain a 3-year technology roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to evaluate emerging tech adoption opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board committees
- Manage pilot programs for breakthrough technologies including quantum computing and AI ethics frameworks
- Author annual Future Tech Reports with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Build and mentor an innovation team focused on next-generation solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Strategic Innovation
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive communication with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation management
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
