Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability for 2026 market adoption
- Develop comprehensive 3-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record developing and implementing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or decentralized systems
- Executive-level presentation skills with experience influencing C-suite decisions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required; PhD preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry forums
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS Machine Learning Specialty) strongly preferred
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs in Fortune 500 environments
