Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR) with 3-5 year roadmaps
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for acquisition/partnership opportunities
- Develop cross-functional innovation frameworks connecting R&D with market entry
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Build and lead a high-performance team of futurists and technologists
- Author thought leadership on technology disruption for industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record launching breakthrough products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and investors
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation forums
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFIP)
