Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) and assess market readiness
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and societal trends
- Lead 'Future Vision' workshops with C-suite executives and R&D partners
- Establish KPIs for emerging tech adoption and ROI tracking systems
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with quarterly strategic pivots
- Present findings to investors and industry panels at global tech summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy or emerging technologies roles
- Portfolio of 3+ implemented future-tech initiatives
- Deep understanding of exponential tech curves (Moore's Law, AI progress)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent experience
- Experience with scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
- Track record of securing funding for speculative tech projects
