Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and organizational objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) with strategic potential
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate emerging tech applications
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technological ROI and innovation maturity
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive cultural adoption of experimental technologies through change management programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies in enterprise environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, AR/VR, or neurotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong executive communication ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) or equivalent experience
- Experience working with agile development methodologies in complex tech ecosystems
