Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology roadmap, aligning emerging innovations with market demands and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into existing ecosystems
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Manage innovation incubation programs for emerging technology ventures
- Author thought leadership on technological evolution and future-proofing strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum, Web3, etc.)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem and venture capital community
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience scaling technology initiatives from concept to commercial deployment
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
