Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors (quantum, AI ethics, biotech fusion)
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype disruptive solutions
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through patent analysis, academic partnerships, and venture scouting
- Develop strategic frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets through compelling ROI projections
- Mentor next-gen innovators through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500/unicom experience
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in innovation methodologies (TRIZ, Design Thinking, Blue Ocean Strategy)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings
- Strong network with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
