Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Partner with VPs of Engineering to prototype next-gen solutions in our Innovation Labs
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints with academia and industry leaders
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary future-facing technologies
- Represent InnovateX at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record leading disruptive innovation initiatives (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and patent landscapes
- Executive-level experience presenting complex tech concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Published research or patents in future technologies preferred
- Global network of innovators and academic connections
- Fluency in strategic frameworks like Horizon Scanning and Technology Readiness Levels
