Responsibilities
- Design scalable architectures for 2026-era technology ecosystems integrating AI, blockchain, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market demands
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Secure $5M+ in research funding through compelling proposals and stakeholder presentations
- Mentor junior architects in future-proofing methodologies and emerging tech standards
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise architecture with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D leadership
- Proven track record delivering complex systems with 3+ year vision horizons
- Expertise in AI/ML frameworks, quantum computing principles, and decentralized systems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals on future technologies
- Experience securing government/private research grants ($1M+)
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Certification in TOGAF or SABSA architecture frameworks
