Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI/quantum/IoT solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech with 5-10 year commercialization potential
- Translate future scenarios into product roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Collaborate with C-suite to secure $50M+ innovation budget for 2026 initiatives
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI integration
- Present strategic visions to Fortune 500 partners and venture capital consortiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future forecasting
- Proven track record launching products with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in IEEE/MIT/Nature journals or equivalent
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for speculative innovation
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and futures analysis frameworks
