Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture capital teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging tech disruptions across 15+ industries
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI implementation and quantum security protocols
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Mentor a 12-person Future Tech Lab in rapid prototyping and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching products generating $50M+ ARR
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in ethical AI governance frameworks and quantum-resistant cryptography
- Published research in IEEE Nature or peer-reviewed journals
- Fluency in strategic scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Executive presence with experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs
