Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the long-term technical vision and architecture for the 2026 product suite, aligning engineering efforts with business goals.
- System Design: Lead the end-to-end design of complex, distributed systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance at scale.
- AI Integration: Spearhead the integration of Generative AI and machine learning models into core infrastructure to automate and enhance operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous innovation and technical excellence.
- Technology Stack Management: Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (e.g., WebAssembly, Edge Computing) to keep our stack modern and competitive.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior architectural or leadership role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Programming: Proficiency in modern languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
- AI/ML: Strong understanding of AI/ML pipelines, LLM integration, and data-driven decision-making frameworks.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, high-stakes technical challenges in fast-paced environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
