Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for AI integration across healthcare, energy, and transportation sectors
- Lead workshops with C-suite executives on technological disruption forecasting
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Collaborate with quantum computing teams to optimize AI algorithms
- Produce annual 'State of Future Tech' reports for industry stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in futurism methodologies and trend analysis
- Secure patents for novel AI-human interface technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Futurism with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on AI or quantum systems
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and simulation modeling tools
- Certification in Futures Studies (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technological forecasting projects
- Clearance for DoD/NSF research collaboration (preferred)
