Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and predictive models
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across ML pipelines
- Develop compliance strategies for emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycle
- Create transparency documentation for high-stakes AI decision systems
- Lead stakeholder engagements on AI governance policy and risk mitigation
- Monitor emerging ethical challenges in AI deployment and adapt governance protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics-focused technology roles
- Expertise in ML fairness metrics, bias detection, and explainable AI techniques
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (US/EU/Asia)
- Experience developing organizational AI ethics policies and governance structures
- Strong technical aptitude to collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification) a plus
