Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-facing solutions using emerging tech stack
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ global innovation ecosystems
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Build and manage a network of 50+ industry futurists and academic researchers
- Drive innovation sprints focused on 2026 market disruption scenarios
- Author thought leadership publications and patent disclosures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused technologies
- Expertise in at least 3 of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- Published work in top-tier journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in strategic simulation tools and scenario planning methodologies
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for futuristic initiatives
