Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and market disruptions impacting 2026's digital landscape
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Lead innovation sprints with engineering and product teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Present trend forecasts to executive leadership and board of directors quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for horizon scanning
- Author white papers on future-of-work implications and societal impact assessments
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary 'Future Mapping' methodology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight or trend analysis at Fortune 500/tech scale
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-relevant domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate AI
- Certified in Futures Methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Technique)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation portfolio
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Proficiency in trend-forecasting platforms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, or proprietary tools)
