Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs specializing in emerging tech
- Author thought leadership publications on societal impacts of exponential technologies
- Design and execute scenario-planning exercises for global market disruptions
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary FutureStack methodology
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting tech adoption curves (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two exponential technologies: quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing Fortune 500 audiences
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Published author or keynote speaker at global innovation forums
- Fluency in strategic modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrix)
