Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform routine server maintenance, patch management, and system updates to ensure optimal performance and security during weekend shifts.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for internal stakeholders with minimal downtime.
- Monitoring: Monitor system logs, network traffic, and server health using advanced monitoring tools to proactively identify potential issues.
- Security Compliance: Enforce company security protocols, conduct security audits, and manage access controls for weekend operations.
- Backup & Recovery: Verify data integrity and execute backup procedures to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation regarding system configurations, incident reports, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a full-time schedule.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or CCNA certification is a strong plus.
