Job Overview
As our Weekend Technical Support Specialist, you will be the frontline of technical excellence, ensuring business continuity during critical off-hours. You will troubleshoot complex IT issues, manage service tickets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain our 99.9% uptime standards.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for internal employees and clients.
- Ticket Management: Prioritize and manage a high volume of IT support tickets using our CRM system with a focus on First Contact Resolution.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine server checks, security patches, and software updates during the weekend window.
- Hardware Support: Assist with the deployment, setup, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Communication: Provide clear, professional technical guidance to non-technical staff via phone and email.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support, IT help desk, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS environments, Office 365, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure.
