Responsibilities
- Execute scheduled system backups and restoration procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor server health and performance metrics during off-peak hours.
- Apply critical security patches and updates to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for remote employees.
- Collaborate with the on-call support team for escalated critical incidents.
- Document all system configurations and incident reports in the ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
