Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance, patch management, and system updates for servers and network hardware during weekend windows.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve critical hardware and software issues to ensure zero downtime for our clients.
- Security Monitoring: Monitor system logs and security alerts to proactively identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Backup Verification: Conduct routine data backup verification and restore procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Hardware Support: Oversee the installation and configuration of new hardware and peripherals.
- Incident Response: Lead the incident response process for any critical failures that occur outside of standard business hours.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Certification: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Availability: Must be available to work exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays (rotating shifts).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
