Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for internal staff and clients via phone and remote access.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and update technical support tickets in the Help Desk system to ensure SLA compliance.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs of peripherals, printers, and workstations.
- User Support: Provide clear, patient technical guidance to non-technical users to resolve common issues efficiently.
- Security Compliance: Assist in enforcing office IT policies, including password management and access control.
- System Updates: Assist in deploying and patching software updates during off-peak hours to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in technical support, help desk, or IT assistance.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 10/11, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and possibly occasional holidays.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote or hybrid setup.
