Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend IT infrastructure monitoring and incident response for Fortune 500 clients
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during critical system upgrades and maintenance windows
- Implement disaster recovery protocols and cybersecurity measures for weekend operations
- Document SOPs and performance metrics for continuous improvement
- Lead incident post-mortems and implement preventive action plans
- Manage vendor relationships for weekend support services
- Mentor junior technicians on weekend-specific operational best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in IT operations with weekend shift exposure
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and enterprise networking
- ITIL/COBIT certification or equivalent process management experience
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management in 24/7 environments
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring tools (Splunk, Nagios, Datadog)
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities under pressure
- CISSP or CISA certification (highly desirable)
